Cookie Pie

Happy National Dessert Day! How could I just leave you with one dessert option for this holiday? This dessert is one of my husband's favorite treats. I love this treat because it is so simple and can be put together in no time at all. I keep most of these things on hand anyways, just in case we have unexpected guests or need a quick dessert to fill our sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

Graham Cracker pie crust

Cool Whip

Chips Ahoy cookies regular or mini

Mini chocolate chips

Milk

How to make it:

You want to start with putting your milk into a small bowl. Then, take your cookies and submerge them into the milk for about 7 seconds. Next, take the cookies and line them around the bottom of the graham cracker crust. I try to fill in as much space as I can. Sometimes I break the cookie in half and then soak in the milk to get the tighter spaces. After that you do a layer of cool whip. The cookies will be soft so try your best at not smudging and mixing the cool whip and cookies. Then repeat. Soak cookies and add another layer of cool whip. I did about three layers of each. That should leave you with a cool whip on top. Then, you take your mini chocolate chips and sprinkle on top. That is all you do! I normally put the pie in the fridge until its time to eat!

I hope you enjoy this simple and delish dessert. Don't forget if you make this to tag @thesimplelifeoftrisha! I would love to see how yours turns out!

xoxo,

Trisha
