Halloween Planters

Being some what of a newlywed and having our own space has me decorating. I've always left the decorating up to my mom, who has always enjoyed filling her home with festive decor. As for me, my budget is that of a newly married 20 something! So, budget friendly decor is my thing!

Pumpkin shaped things are my favorite. I love a good little jack-o-lantern face. They are just so cute and happy! If you know me, I'm not one for pumpkin flavored things. I won't be the first in line at Trader Joe's for all things pumpkin, or running into Starbucks to get a pumpkin spice latte. You will find me buying anything with a cute little face on it, and Halloween colored Oreo's, donuts, and everything else that is themed for the holiday. With that being said, I will just look and decorate with pumpkins! So, I decided my home does not have enough pumpkins in it already. So, I have made more!

What you will need:

-Small treat pumpkins

-White pebbles

-Your favorite succulents

-Small can of gold spray paint

Here is how I made them:

First, I found a cardboard box so I could spray paint the orange pumpkins. Then, after they dry, I placed pebbles in the bottom of the pumpkins. After the pebbles, I placed the succulents into the pumpkins carefully. You may add more pebbles if you have room and want the soil to be covered. That's it! Super simple and so cute!

Don't forget, if you make this make sure you tag @thesimplelifeoftrisha so I can see all y'alls awesomeness!

Where I found my supplies:

Small treat bucket pumpkins - Party City

Gold spray paint - Micheals

Succulents - Whole Foods

White pebbles - Dollar Store.
